Created by the American Diabetes Association, the Diabetes Food Hub is the premier food and cooking destination for people living with diabetes and their families. Start by creating a free account online. Just fill out your name, email address and zip code, then create a username and password.
From there, you can search healthy recipes, meal plan, get recommended recipes, fill out your preferences and get tips and recipes emailed to you. You can also generate a grocery list based on recipes you like, then email it to yourself.
The American Diabetes Association is a network of more than 565,000 volunteers, a membership of more than 540,000 people with diabetes, their families and caregivers, a professional society of nearly 20,000 health care professionals, as well as more than 400 staff members. They provide tools, health tips and food ideas to people fighting against type 1 or type 2 diabetes or who are helping loved ones.
