Tech Firm Polte Moves to Addison

 Welcome to Addison, Polte Corp.! This tech firm recently moved from Richardson to Addison after receiving $12.5 million in funding to expand the workforce. Polte Corp. will now be located in the new 7,000 square foot lease in the Colonnade office center on Dallas Parkway.

Polte is the leader in Cloud Location over Cellular (C-LoC) solutions. Leveraging 4G and 5G signals, Polte’s cloud-based platform powers Internet of Things (IoT) devices with real-time location determination as they move between indoor and outdoor environments. Polte enables the lowest cost, lowest power, most secure from chip to cloud location available in the market today.

This startup software firm’s location technology has transformed the IoT market, creating new opportunities for growth and efficiency at organizations across the world.

According to its website, “Location has remained stagnant for decades with GPS and Wi-Fi as the primary solutions despite inherent limitations. Polte engineers pushed the boundaries of what was possible in location technology, and they continue to innovative every day.”

In addition to their move to Addison, Polte is also planning on doubling its employment to grow the areas of sales, marketing and engineering.

The Colonnade has more than 1 million square feet of office space in three high-rise buildings on the Dallas North Tollway. It is located just south of the 70-acre Addison Circle mixed-use development, consisting of apartments, townhomes and various restaurants and retail stores. It is a Class AA asset, which has been maintained to institutional standards throughout its history, winning the BOMA-Building of the Year award in 2003-2004 and again in 2012-2013.

Polte’s newest location in the Colonnade will help them grow their business quickly and compete for top technology talent in the Dallas area.
