Texas de Brazil is hosting its annual St. Jude Benefit Luncheon Saturday, Oct. 26. Known as the largest authentic churrasco brand restaurant in the world, Texas de Brazil continues to use its brand to help bring awareness to a great cause.
St. Jude Children’s Research was founded by Danny Thomas and serves as one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer as well as other childhood diseases. They treat children from all over the country as well as the world. At St. Jude, families never receive a bill for treatment, as their website states, “Because we believe all they should worry about is helping their child live.”
By attending this benefit luncheon, not only will you enjoy a delicious meal, but you will also help raise money for a great cause and also win great prizes through the silent auction. Tickets are $40 per person. The reception starts at 12:30 p.m. followed by an opening announcement at 1 p.m. and lunch at 1:15 p.m. There will also be a special charity video presentation, a check presentation by Texas de Brazil to St. Jude. For those who participate in the silent auction, winners will be announced toward the end of the event.
Guests can check out the donated items and make their favorite selections while enjoying a refreshing caipirinha or sangria. During the lunch portion of the event, enjoy their 50-item salad area, various cuts of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage, and choice of Key lime or banana foster pie for dessert.
One of the amazing things about this event is that 100 percent of proceeds will go directly to St. Jude. For more information, visit Texas de Brazil’s special event website where you can purchase tickets and see a detailed agenda for the day.
