Coming from a family that loves to cook and that has passed down family recipes throughout generations, I have a special place in my heart for restaurants like Thai Spice. The restaurant started in 2012 with family recipes, always fresh ingredients and with the goal of making everyone feel welcomed.
From their most popular dish, the Tom Kha Soup to the Mango Sticky Rice, the menu at Thai Spice is filled with amazingly delicious dishes.
Definitely order the Tom Kha Soup, but if I may make some suggestions. Try Krapow fried rice. Tossed with Thai chilies, basil, garlic, and bell pepper it’s packed with flavor. If you love curry, you will absolutely love their Pineapple Shrimp Curry.
For something on the lighter side, try one of their salads like the Green Papaya salad or the Cucumber Mango salad.
Of course, we can’t forget about dessert. In this category, you must try the Mango Sticky Rice. It’s simply delicious.
Thai Spice is always drawing from the different native ingredients from back in Thailand in order to keep the menu as authentic as possible. Keeping the restaurant as authentic as possible is important to them. As Nickii, who runs the day to day operations at the restaurant told us, “Everyone that you see here in the restaurant is Thai, from the people answering the phone to our chef. We like to keep it as authentic as we can.”
When you dine at Thai Spice expect to be treated like family, expect to be served large portions and expect to want to be back soon.
If you can’t make it out to Thai Spice, don’t worry, they deliver within a five-mile radius of their location for a small fee, and if you are inside of a three-mile radius the delivery is free. To browse the complete menu and for more information on the restaurant, visit their website.
