Must Have Gourmet Dishes in Addison

If you are looking for gourmet, look no further than the wide selection of restaurants in Addison and the Corridor. We have some of the finest restaurants in the country serving up exclusive creative and delicious dishes. Seafood, exotic dishes, and even some vegan options, there is something for every taste!

Table 13 not only brings the cool-sophisticated atmosphere of the early 1960s, but their menu includes creative dishes. Try Chef Valentin’s Shrimp and Grits. It is wood-grilled jumbo shrimp, honey cured pork belly, truffle cheddar grits with a Tabasco butter sauce. At the Fish Market, they also have a vegan option, so no one has to miss out on all the delicious creativity coming from Chef Chamberlain. The Truffle Mushroom Ravioli comes with roasted vegetables, grilled asparagus, baby tomatoes, and pesto.

The menu at Kenny’s Italian Kitchen is simple and to the point. They make amazing Italian food and treat every guest like they are part of the family. My current favorite dish here is the Chicken Scaloppini. It has artichokes, mushrooms, capers, smoked bacon, a white wine lemon butter sauce and served with angel hair pasta.

Thai Spice has won “Favorite Thai Restaurant” in our Reader’s Choice Awards for the last two years and if you have ever eaten any of their food you would agree. Order their Tom Kha Soup (Coconut soup.) It’s one of the most popular dishes here and it’s made fresh daily. If you like gourmet desserts, try their fresh Mango and Sticky Rice. It’s a traditional Thai dessert that won’t leave you with a bad sugar rush or feeling guilty. It’s just pure deliciousness with zero guilt. Visit their website for the full menu.

For a tasty gourmet ice cream treat, try Creamistry at the Village on the Parkway. From their website, “At Creamistry, our specially trained Creamologists use liquid nitrogen to hand-craft our premium ice cream, one scoop at a time! We don’t make it until you order it – it doesn’t get any fresher than that!” At Creamistry you pick the base to your flavor, the toppings, and the mix-ins; in other words, you create the masterpiece.

If you love coffee, try 84 Point Coffee on Midway just north of Spring Valley. Founded by Russell Hayward, a Licensed Q Grader, the coffee here is superb. Stop by and try them out.
