October is here—it’s time to officially embrace all things fall! Take a date to enjoy bottomless glass of fine wine selections, with a $28 VIP Wine Pass. On the list includes Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, red wine, Chardonnay, Savignon Blanc, Rose and more, all designed to delight your taste buds and warm you up on a chilly fall evening.
Even though this year’s Addison Oktoberfest was cut short due to flooding, you can still enjoy a delicious Oktoberfest brew at The Mucky Duck. They are offering a Shiner Oktoberfest beer! This Marzen-style ale was made with in the German-grown Hallertau tradition, and is the perfect refreshment for a cool fall day.
Known for being a bustling coffee shop during the day and a cozy wine bar at night, Astoria Caffe and Wine Bar has what you need to embrace autumn. Embrace Thanksgiving early by ordering a sweet pumpkin pie vodka spritzer, or treat yourself during the day by adding a shot of pumpkin cinnamon to your latte or trying one of the seasonal hot or cold pumpkin drinks.
Deciding on a drink will be hard at Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar, which is now offering three unique fall cocktails. The first is the Meyer Lemon Margarita, made with Lunazul tequila, yuzu lime, sweet and sour, triple sec and cilantro. Next is the Pomegranate Punch, a bright red drink made with Buffalo Trace whiskey, St. Germain, pomegranate, cranberry juice, sweet and sour, mint, soda and rosemary. Finally, the Maple Bacon Old Fashion is sure to be a popular choice, as it is made with housemade bacon-washed Tincup Mountain Whiskey, maple syrup, bitters and Montenegro Amaro liqueur, topped with bacon candy.
Trade the popular Pumpkin Spice Latte for a lesser known, but equally delicious, Pumpkin Pie Latte from Dunn Brothers. This latte is made with real pumpkin, real spices, real maple syrup and a house made cinnamon whip cream that will melt in your mouth! Not into pumpkin? Dunn Brothers is also offering a limited time Honey Spiced Nirvana latte, made with housemade honey syrup, brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon combined with cold press and cream. Either drink will make you want to cuddle up by the fireplace in your favorite leggings on a cold day!
