Give Back With Operation Kindness

Operation Kindness gifts are still available, and all funds go right back to the shelter.

We’ve all had “one of those days” where we cannot win; an afternoon where we dig deep down inside and muster up all our strength to make it through. But if you’re the proud owner of a cat or dog, then you’re well aware of how therapeutic their unconditional love can be. It’s time to give back to those less fortunate pets, and you can do so through a number of gifts offered through Operation Kindness.

This year, Operation Kindness introduced The Kindness Katalog, where all funds directly benefit homeless animals at the nonprofit organization’s various locations. Gifts range from beds to enrichment kits, and offer customers the opportunity to provide a furry friend with a little pampering and TLC. Below are a few of our favorites.

Spa Day – $75

“Nothing rejuvenates and starts the healing process better than a warm bath,” reads Operation Kindness’ website. By purchasing the gift of a spa day, you’ll ensure one lucky homeless animal receives a special medicated bath that will assist in healing any skin conditions. As a result, you’ll also be helping to make this bundle of love healthy and comfortable for his or her upcoming adoption!

Vaccinations for 20 Animals – $100

For only $100 you can give 20 kittens or puppies the necessary vaccinations to keep them healthy and happy. What a small price to pay for a large contribution.

Happy Tails Society Membership – $57 to $228

Offer one lucky pet the option of a three, six or nine month membership in the Happy Tails Society. This helps the animals receive the medical care, medicine, food shelter, nurturing and behavior training they need to have a second chance at a happy home.

Make a Donation

Lastly, one single donation – both quick and easy – is helpful to these animals, no matter what the amount may be. Giving back in small or large quantities can make all the difference in the world when it comes to the well-being of homeless animals.
