Whole Foods’ Seafood Dinner and Beer Pairing

Enjoy Cajun shrimp, crawfish and local beer at Whole Foods on October 23rd.

Everyone knows that food tastes better with the right type of alcohol, although we do not always know what that right drink to pair with our food is. The Whole Foods Market on Belt Line Road is going to try to solve that problem for you with their Cajun Shrimp and Crawfish Boil and Beer Pairing Dinner on October 23 at 6:30pm.

This Cajun seafood boil with all the fixings will be paired with three beers from local Addison brewery, Bitter Sisters. You’ll start the evening at 6pm with a welcome beer tasting, eat Cajun shrimp and crawfish at 6:30pm with a beer pairing, and indulge your sweet tooth at 7:30pm with a dessert and beer pairing.

“At Whole Foods Market in Addison, we love pairing unique foods with craft beer,” said Krista Brown, Marketing Team Leader at Whole Foods. “Fall is a perfect time for a delicious seafood boil with fresh shrimp and crawfish. What better partner than a local brewer? Bitter Sisters is an independent, family owned craft brewery with a passion for making great beer. We’re excited that this is our very first dinner with Bitter Sisters – the first of many more to come!”

If you enjoy the Bitter Sisters craft beer at the dinner, you can find it on tap at several places in Addison, including: Nate’s Seafood, The Social House, Flying Saucer, The Londoner, Humperdinks, Dough Bros, and Skewers Kabob House. Or you can check out the Bitter Sisters Brewery yourself at 15103 Suveyor Boulevard in Addison, where you can sign up for a tasting and public tour on any Saturday between 11am and 3pm.

Before you head out to the Cajun Shrimp and Crawfish Boil and Beer Paring Dinner at Whole Foods in Addison, do not forget to purchase your tickets here in advance. Be prepared for an outstanding pairing that your mouth has never tasted before.
