We hope you’re having a joyous Christmas, lovely readers!

If you find that you want to get out of the house after Christmas lunch or dinner, there are many things you and your loved ones can enjoy in the Corridor. From entertainment to live music, here are five Christmas Day activities you can enjoy today!

Catch a Movie

It’s something so cliché, but catching a film on Christmas Day is something a good friend of mine does with her husband every year. She says it’s become a Christmas tradition they look forward to every year, and you and your loved ones can try it out today.

With a long list of holiday-season blockbusters at LOOK Cinemas, AMC Valley View 16 and Venetian Cinemas, there’s a movie and theater that will please even the pickiest family member.

Gaze at Vitruvian Lights

Take an after-Christmas celebration stroll around the scenic Vitruvian Park to gaze at the dazzling Vitruvian Lights—which will continue to sparkle until Wednesday, Jan. 1.

With the impressive amount of work that goes behind setting up this annual light fest, this is definitely a sight worth showing off to out-of-towners.

Go Bowling

Addison is home to the upscale bowling and entertainment venue, Bowlmor Lanes, which features a full-service bar, lane-side food, glow-in-the-dark lanes, pool tables, an arcade and plenty of flat-screen TVs to keep the whole family entertained.

Bowlmor will open its doors at 4 p.m. today.

Have a Drink

The Corridor is a restaurant and nightlife hub, so why not take advantage of this lively scene?

There are many Corridor-area restaurants and bars that will be open today. So, gather your friends and relatives and head out for a nice, seasonal beer or hot alcoholic beverage tonight.

Listen to Live Music

If you want to watch a live music performance or get your groove on, there are some live music shows you should check out.

You can dance the night away at Memphis Restaurant with rock-pop-dance group, The Big Daddy Band, which will hit the stage at 10 p.m.

The non-dancers can visit Sherlock’s Pub & Grill, where alternative rock artist Matt Barron will perform at 10 p.m.
